Call for Doctoral Positions in Design Computation and Architectural Robotics
Funding is available for one or more multi-year Ph.D. and Research Assistantship (RA) positions within the Land Use, Design and Built environment (LDB) track of the Land Use Planning, Management and Design (LPMD) Interdisciplinary Ph.D. program at Texas Tech University. Funding will be focused on one or more of the following areas:
Fabrication Intelligence and Architectural Robotics
Integrated Data-Driven Design-to-Production
Computational Intelligence and Advanced Design Computation
Artificial Intelligence in Design and Fabrication
AR/VR/Mixed-Reality Assisted Design, Fabrication, and Assembly
Robotic 3D Printing and Hybrid Robotic Manufacturing Methods
Human-Robot Collaboration and Hybrid Intelligence in Robotic Fabrication
Material Intelligence and Circularity in Design-to-Construction Processes
Applicants are encouraged to propose relevant topics related to the above focus areas.
