This Fall semester of 2026, Sheida Shariat is joining the Hi-DARS lab as a Research Assistant.
Sheida Shariat is a Research Assistant at Texas Tech University, where she is pursuing her Ph.D. in Architecture. She holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with a focus on Construction Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, as well as a Master of Architecture and a Bachelor of Architecture from Iran. Her research experience spans sustainable building technologies, energy-efficient building systems, bio-receptive technologies, computational design, and digital fabrication. Her research interests lie at the intersection of architecture, automation, and sustainable construction, with a particular interest in computational design and robotic fabrication.
At Hi-DARS, she is working as part of the RAMP initiative, funded by HUD through a collaborative project between the Hi-DARS Lab at TTU’s Huckabee College of Architecture and the CECERHE HUD Center at TTU’s Department of Civil, Environmental, and Construction Engineering.
